Pickle Ball

I just finished playing 3 games of Pickle Ball.  Pickle ball is sort of like Ping Pong and Tennis put together.  The ball looks like a little whiffle ball. 

I was very skeptical about it at first even though I really like pickles.  However, it turns out to be a really fun game.  So if someone ever says, “wanna play a game of Pickle Ball.” Say yes and give it a try.

Moblogs…

So a new version of EE just came out and it has this Moblog module.  It lets
you send entries to your blog through an email.  So if you have a cell phone
or you are just able to get on email you can still update your blog.

I’m at my computer right now so I don’t have to send this through the Moblog
system but I want to try it out.

I’ll be attaching an image of the Angoon School’s logo as well because I set
up the system to automatically make a thumbnail of the image so that the
entry will have a clickable thumbnail that will link to the full size image.

This could be pretty neat if I ever breakdown and buy a cell phone.  But not
much point of that until I live in a place where cell phones actually work.
:)

Ok here it goes...will it work?

UPDATE: I wanted to mention that it didn’t work at all at first.  But one of the programmers at pMachine spent a lot of time figuring out what the problem was for me.  Once again I recommend checking them out if you want something more powerful than MovableType and want incredible support as well.

The Art Of Sixpence

I’m an extremely big fan of the recently disbanded rock group Sixpence None The Richer.  One of the things I have always enjoyed about their albums besides the music itself is that their albums often feature some fairly incredible artwork.  I just wrote a small article about the various artwork and the artist who created the pieces.
