There are three member types on this site. All member types are able to post comments without typing out their personal info every time. Otherwise the member types are differentiated as described below.
Mess Editor
Mess Editors can view and download all of the site content at Methnen's Mess. They can also add content (News or Downloads items) to the site using the Control Panel.
Vine Member
Vine Member's can view and download all of the site content at Methnen's Mess.
Member
Members can view and download only some of the site content at Methnen's Mess. To have access to everything there you must join The Vine an email discussion group for Sixpence. Joining is free and you have complete control over how many emails, if any, you receive. After joining you must contact me so that I can confirm your membership and upgrade your account.
