This site attempts to contain up to date news on what the former members of Sixpence None The Richer are up to, or not up to, be that as it may. There is also a fairly extensive library of media files relating to the band that can be found in the Downloads pages.
To gain access to the Downloads pages you must register on this site. This is an attempt to preserve my bandwidth a small amount. Registering is free and your email address, name, and other information will stay private. However, you must use a real email address when registering so that you will be able to recieve the account confirmation email. If you do not recieve that email you will be unable to activate your account. Having a valid email address will also allow you to be alerted when someone makes a comment on a News entry or Downloads item that you have commented on. Say it isn’t so…

Well, I found a great thread on CM Central’s forum that had some pictures of the article as well as an OCR scanned version of Matt’s, and Leigh’s letter that was within.
I didn’t get permission to repost these I have to be at work real soon so I’m hoping the person who posted these does not mind. :) Also note that since the letter was scanned with OCR software I spent a little time cleaning up the text so that it was a little more readable.

Sixpence Has Decided They’re Done…

We all knew it had to happen. I just wish it wasn’t happening right now. :( Sixpence has decided they are calling it quits. This news is coming from a letter that is in the latest issue of CCM Magazine.

New Sixpence Album Out This Fall!!!

StreetAlliance.com is reporting that the record label has confirmed a August/September release date for a Sixpence “Tribute” album that is rumored to be called “The Ground They Shook,” although the title has not yet been confirmed. The disc will include up to 18 tracks!!! including three previously unreleased songs as well as a bunch of radio hits and songs recorded for movie soundtracks.

Sixpence on 2 New Releases

Two new releases will be coming out in the coming weeks that will feature songs from Sixpence None the Richer.
The first album, titled In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa will release on Januray 27th and features Sixpence performing U2’s classic, “Love is Blindness”.
The second album, titled Full Circle: A Celebration of Songs and Friends will release on February 24th and features Sixpence performing “Every Heartbeat” which was a hit for Amy Grant.
