This site attempts to contain up to date news on what the former members of Sixpence None The Richer are up to, or not up to, be that as it may. There is also a fairly extensive library of media files relating to the band that can be found in the Downloads pages.
To gain access to the Downloads pages you must register on this site. This is an attempt to preserve my bandwidth a small amount. Registering is free and your email address, name, and other information will stay private. However, you must use a real email address when registering so that you will be able to recieve the account confirmation email. If you do not recieve that email you will be unable to activate your account. Having a valid email address will also allow you to be alerted when someone makes a comment on a News entry or Downloads item that you have commented on. Sixpence on 2 New Releases

Two new releases will be coming out in the coming weeks that will feature songs from Sixpence None the Richer.
The first album, titled In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa will release on Januray 27th and features Sixpence performing U2’s classic, “Love is Blindness”.
The second album, titled Full Circle: A Celebration of Songs and Friends will release on February 24th and features Sixpence performing “Every Heartbeat” which was a hit for Amy Grant.

Matt Slocum Touring With Over The Rhine

According to the latest Over the Rhine newsletter, Matt Slocum (of Sixpence None the Richer) is going to be playing the cello and guitars in the upcoming christmas tour. The official Over the Rhine website has all of the dates listed.

Also there is news of a possible upcoming EP. The following is from Street Alliance:
Rumor has it that a new Sixpence EP release is set to drop in February 2004 while the band continues to record for an all new album later in the year! The EP will likely include five previously unreleased Sessions tracks, as well as other hard to find Sixpence songs including the Japanese version of Kiss Me!

Sixpence To Cover U2 Song on Upcoming Project

According to jesusfreakhideout, Sixpence will cover U2’s “Love Is Blindness” on the upcoming release, “In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa”, scheduled to hit store shelves in January 2004 on Sparrow Records.

Sixpence on Christmas Compilation

Sixpence will be contributing “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” to an upcoming Christimas Compilation, “Maybe this is Christmas Too,” which is due out Nov. 4. Other artists contributing songs include Dave Mathews, Barnaked Ladies, and Avril Lavrigne.
