Stereo Subversion Interviews Matt Slocum
Categories: Articles
Stereo Subversion recently interviewed Matt Slocum about the rebirth of Sixpence. He mentions that an iTunes only EP titled My Dear Machine is coming in May, a Christmas release in the fall and a full-length album some time next year. Matt says:
The plan for now is to just reconnect through this EP and let people know that we're back and making music. I think toward the end of the year we're gonna start getting into a full-length record. I think the main plan is that we just wanna, over the next 20 years, create a good body of work, pick up where we left off and just keeping making records. We're not really looking to repeat what we did last time around, or get back out and living on the road, that whole thing. If that comes with everything, that'll be great. We're just focused on working slowly and doing good work, seeing what happens with it.
